The Castlebridge Directors Bill Dwan and Andrew Mead have extensive experience buying and selling thoroughbreds of all types, having sourced and purchased privately numerous top-class performers for clients including Classic winners and Breeders Cup winners.

With Bill centrally located in Ireland and Andrew based in Newmarket, England, the Castlebridge partners are uniquely placed to give advice to both sales clients and also to those clients who are looking to purchase.

Our service includes visiting farms and working with clients over a twelve-month period, appraising stock and advising on the best sale venue for each individual horse. The Castlebridge team was strengthened by the arrival of Patrick Diamond from the Irish National Stud (see “Team” for biography) in June 2021. Patrick previously handled the sales of stallion nominations at the Irish National Stud and will oversee Castlebridge Agency Ltd. as Sales Executive in the Newmarket office from where he will be responsible for trading stallion nominations and bloodstock, by both private sales and at public auction through Castlebridge Agency Ltd.
